Metisc is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you for lawful purposes.

We collect information about you for a number of reasons:

We will not generally e-mail you if you have removed your consent. Exceptions do occur where you are a subscriber or are in a financial or contractual relationship with Metisc in which case you will be contacted by email until that relationship is terminated.

We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us.

The type of information we will collect and store electronically about you includes:

  • your position/title
  • addresses
  • phone numbers
  • email address
  • preferred language
  • gender
  • product purchase history/details
  • your areas of interest
  • your contact preferences
  • the type of software and services you use or have used
  • interactions, postings, queries and responses through email, websites, phones, faxes and social media
  • financial history including, in some cases payment information

We do not collect what we perceive to be sensitive personal information about you without your consent. Metisc does not collect information about race, religion or sexual preference.

You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing our privacy officer (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). If you notify us of any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

We use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our sites. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser, or an activity record stored if you are logged into our systems. You can usually modify your browser to prevent cookies being recorded. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.

The personal information we hold will be held in accordance with our internal security policies and our legal requirements.
